Concrete Work for our Sponsored Tables & Benches
Todd Holladay and volunteers will fill in dirt along the new concrete edges this weekend. The small/all dog play areas may be closed for a few hours - you will share the open play area. Be sure to thank Todd for the outstanding job on our beautiful Italian Slate Concrete. Todd has great ideas and will be our powerhouse super dog in getting the dog park finished!
The pond has been eliminated from phase II due to concerns about water quality, liability, space, and additional requirements. We are instead adding our Memorial Bridge, more seating areas, a kiosk, a pondless water feature, and a decorative area for doggie pools that can be refreshed as needed. Susan & Bill Santos will be creating a beautiful bigger-than-lifesize sculpture that will represent dogs, big and small, who enjoy Ashley Memorial Dog Park.
The first delivery of SPONSORED benches (sponsor plaques to follow) arrived Wednesday, June 18th with more sponsored benches and tables on order.

PLEASE JOIN US for the first few minutes of the next ARD Board meeting to thank ARD for our community dog park and to howl and cheer for Todd and all his hard work. Todd was instrumental in leading our Landscape Work Pawty May 3-4 and created the beautiful Italian Slate concrete work. In addition to that, Todd has volunteered to help complete the our dog park!
