OUR COMMUNITY DOG PARK IS NOW OPEN!  

Located at the back of

Ashford Park, Auburn Ravine Road, Auburn, CA

OUR WONDERFUL DOG-LOVING SUPPORTERS planted 49 trees and 43 shrubs this last weekend.  Forty-Four Volunteers worked 135 hours planting the shrubs donated by Eisley Nursery and the 33 trees donated by Ken & Cherie Menzer,Abacus Nursery.  We transformed our bare bones dog park into beautifully landscaped park.  Many people brought refreshments to keep the volunteers happy.   

Our youngest volunteer, Hans Grassmann with his dog Scooby, took a well deserved break from digging holes with his dad Andy.   Thanks to everyone who helped -- our park will grow more beautiful and have more shade!  We also thank Teddy Polis for give extra water to all the new plants.  Teddy has requested help with the hoses while he is watering - be sure to offer your help.  

Special Thanks to Todd Holloday for his Bobcat work, power digging tools and much needed landscape expertise and Jack Knight for his power digging tools and hard work.  

The Ashley Mememorial Dog Park Foundation purchased 16 trees, bark, weed cloth and other landscaping materials.
